Outlaw Offroad
was started in October of 2003 by Steven "Spanky" Woolbright and Wes "Outlaw" Hewitt. Today
it consists of a few people who, like them, enjoy getting dirty and is down for a little offroad
fun. We are a local four wheel drive
and offroad club located in south east Virginia and north east North Carolina. Most of our rigs are built
by us - Suspensions, Gears, Lockers, Motors and More!!! We have a little of everything from mild to wild. So, if you
are interested in finding out what we are all about, step inside and meet the family.
Outlaw's Offroad Motorsports owns and operates a 500 foot
R/C track, "The Backyard ". It features 12 foot wide lanes, flat-top, single, double and triple
jumps whoops and moguls, a 90 foot straight away and banked hairpin turns. "The Backyard Track" is located
in Norfolk and is open most evenings and weekends. Cost to enter is just $5 dollars for the maintenance of the track.

Outlaw Offroad works the Monster Jam shows every November and
February at the Hamptom Coliseum. We start with arranging for the crush cars, paint and sprayer and other needed supplies
for the track setup. Thursday starts the track build. Bobcats and dumptrucks flood the arena with mounds of dirt
for the track. We will prep the stands and hang banners and build turn poles and signs. Once the track is complete
it is time to go home. Friday and Saturday is the easy part. One of our members, Erin "Mud Teacher"
Woolbright, starts the show by singing our national anthem. After the engines have been started, the racing begins.
We record track times and keep the track functional. Basically, we enjoy the shows!
